I have to admit that I love HTC Hero than Palm Pre, even though I wrote something about Pre here.

HTC Hero is just suit me more, you know, it's kind of "beauty in the eyes of beholder" type of cheeky feeling. :-o

Now those lucky chaps in UK will get the HTC Hero ahead of everybody who is drooling toward this smartphone. FYI, there are 2000+ gdgt users want this phone.

Palm Pre for the win!!

That’s just me, I think Palm Pre vs iPhone 3G or 3GS, Palm Pre will win (at least to me) for the following reason:

1. First and foremost, it MULTITASK!!

2. Qwerty Keyboard. (real thing always better than virtual)

3. It’s Palm! Nerd n Geek use Palm back in 90’s. I’ve been seeing lots lots of people using iPhone now. Yes, it’s hip, tons of apps, but hei, I own a iPod Touch, I download apps and delete them after 2-3 days, those are useless shit. The only app I use daily is cydia and Winterboard.

4. It use Konami Code to activate the Dev Mode, how cool is that! Way to go Contra!!!

5. It charge wirelessly by using induction technology. Say bye to white USB cable from Apple.

6. It’s a slider, remind me of those day when I fell in love with the Nokia

7. Lastly, WebOS is cool and iPhone’s OS X scores a draw for this. Come on Apple, you can do better than this!

Enough said, Palm please launch Palm Pre in Malaysia or Singapore already!!! I can’t wait.

Footnote: I still love Apple product, but I am very particular on “SmartPhone”.

NOW my dream may comes true from this concept car, it's exactly same as what I was imagine!
Especially the hover mechanism can transformed into the wheels. (Transformer anyone?).

Golf GTI MK5 SE edition

It makes me thinking, why I bought this car… maybe because I blogged this before? Or my special 70’s attachment to the Beetle and Camper Van? Whatever it is, this car is really like what the Golf GTI MK5’s TVC said “VW Dub, German Technology yooo!”

Had been driving this babe for almost a month now, it really satisfy me in all aspects, either in handling, power, build quality, etc. I have no complain about it, only some minor things that will over shadow by the good sides. (Grin) You may say it’s “fanboyism” (like what they say about Apple). But hei! Just google around and you will see numerous of satisfied MK5 owner on the web.

I will not going to the normal “review” for this car, I will only share some things that you won’t see from the product catalogue and other official sources.

Firstly, let’s look at the exterior; it comes with the ABT full bodykit, quad exhaust and 18” tires:

GOOD: Power, Handling, Built Quality.

BAD: Poor Pre-Sales and After Sales Service (namely my experience with the distributor called VW Cars).

Overall, this is a fantastic car, it’s 4.5 out of 5 stars!

Aptera - the comercialized electric / Hybrid concept car

I was wondering:"What is the fuss about this car?" The Aptera had gathered lots of news/blogs coverage recently when I stumbled upon on the net.

Dropped by the website and found this car is very commercialized and ready for booking! I ain't treehugger or green peace activist, looking at the spec and stats didn't really tell me anything.....(noob!).

So I am still wondering:"WTF about this car!!??" I hope Jeremy Clarkson will sit in it in the new episode of TopGear and see what he will say. LOL! Crap.

BMW launch "Clean Energy" Awareness Drive in Singapore

Today I was in ParkView Square, Singapore and found out BMW had setup a showroom on a plot of empty land that just in front of the square.

There are 3 "Hydrogen" 7 (refer to the badge) were parked outside the showroom. Without thinking much, I walked over and took some snapshot (sorry for the picture quality, it's from my 2MP mobile).

Also reckon this event was held jointly by the BMW and National Environment Agency of Singapore (NEA).

Took some brochures, BMW is bragging about their new "Clean Energy" technology with quite a lot of tagline, such as " Tomorrow's solution. Today", "Take a sip from our cars", "BMW Hydrogen 7. Running on water", etc. The printout even claimed that the brochures were printed on the recycled material. Also mentioned "the amount of water vapour produced after a good 1km drive fills about two glasses". Cool huh?

Personally, I think this is a very good campaign drive for "Clean Energy" and "Environmental" issues. Really impressed how the auto-maker to promote their new technology nowadays. However, the amount of money that spent should goes to plant more tree instead. :p

Personally I just got my iPod Touch, really can't wait to put in 3rd parties app for this gorgeous shiny toy of mine. However jailbreaking is my last choice to do so. Therefore SDK means alot to iPhone and iPod Touch owners who don't wonna break the warranty.

Seems like it's not an OpenSource SDK to me, we will need to wait until June to see the real picture. If not, jailbreaking will still be the last resort. :)

Sony Ericsson W960i was launched?

I just found out on Sony Ericsson Malaysia website had taken out the "Coming Soon" star for W960i (pls refer to the screenshot below), does that means this phone was launched in Malaysia. However the "I want this phone" link is not working. Maybe they just update the website, let's keep our fingers cross, I will get a hands on for this phone for sure later, just stay tune with the review from me.

Merc New C-Class - C for yourself

The NEW Mercedes Benz C-Class launched in Spore last week (or maybe more, I always want to write a post about it, but my daytime job is killing me).

There are two choices "Avantgarde" and "Elegance". I want my "Avantgarde" C200K comes with AMG Sport Package, 7G-TRONIC (Not available currently), ADVANCED AGILITY Package and more.

Well, I am having problem to choose between the New C-class, Lexus IS250 and BMW 3 Series now.
