Apple to unveil iPhone's SDK

From Reuters: APPLE on Thursday is to unveil a 'software roadmap' for outside developers interested in making programs for its hip, hot iPhones....'Please join us to learn about the iPhone software roadmap, including the iPhone SDK (software developer kit) and some exciting new enterprise features,' an invitation reads.

Gizmodo will do a live blogging on this event. Please go to the link below tonight (Msia Time) to find out more: http://live.gizmodo.com/

Personally I just got my iPod Touch, really can't wait to put in 3rd parties app for this gorgeous shiny toy of mine. However jailbreaking is my last choice to do so. Therefore SDK means alot to iPhone and iPod Touch owners who don't wonna break the warranty.

Update:

- Apple Releases iPhone SDK, Demos Spore, Instant Messaging

- iPhone Enterprise Features: ActiveSync, Exchange, WPA2, Push Services

- iFund to Offer $100 Million in Seed Money to iPhone Developers

- iPhone Spore to be Released by EA in September

- Apple Will Allow Voice Over IP (VOIP) on Wifi

- iPhone Enterprise Beta Application

- Mass Email Move and Delete in 2.0, PowerPoint

Seems like it's not an OpenSource SDK to me, we will need to wait until June to see the real picture. If not, jailbreaking will still be the last resort. :)
